About FEAT-NT
Families for Effective Autism Treatment - North Texas (FEAT-NT) is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization of parents and concerned professionals dedicated to providing Education, Advocacy, and Support for children with autism and their families.FEAT-NT has been active in North Texas for over ten years, and now has a community resource center located in North Richland Hills. The FEAT-NT Resource Center and Library is open a minimum of 20 hours per week, and offers a lending library of more than 400 autism and related resources, a parent workroom used to create therapy materials, ongoing educational workshops, support group meetings, a sibling outreach program, dietary and nutritional classes and safe play dates for children with autism. FEAT-NT is often one of the first resources that parents are directed to by local physicians and educational professionals. From its humble beginnings as a support group created by North Texas families struggling for answers to the mysterious disorder of autism, FEAT-NT has now expanded its support across the state.
